The "Wheels to Help Me" service is here to support our UK owners.

Dealing with the heartbreak of DM is both stressful and costly. Wheelchairs, Harnesses, boots and other mobility equipment can help your companion cope with the paralysis that comes with the disease and continue to have a better quality of life, but some of this equipment can be very costly and in the end, the use of them can be short lived due to the progression of the disease.  The UK 'Wheels to Help Me' operates a loan service of donated carts and other items, including Harnesses that can help you keep your companion as mobile as possible as the disease progresses.

The "Wheels to Help Me" program is designed to help those with a fixed or limited income and are not able to afford the expense. While we can not guarantee we have suitable equipment, we will do our very best to help you if we can.


Please check the measurements of your dog using the measurement chart, and then complete our application form on the link.


If we have a cart to fit your pup, we will email you (don't forget to keep checking your junk / trash file after you have submitted the application form) We will then contact you to ask you to make a donation of £65, which will cover the cost of shipping the cart to you and for its return when no longer required. We ask for a £20 donation for a harness, again to include all shipping costs.

THE MEASUREMENT CHART HERE before completing the Application form, if applying for a cart, as you will need to add your dogs measurements based on this chart in the comments section on the Application form.

We can not try to find a cart to help without them!

(please ensure any measurements you take are as accurate as possible as some carts have sections that are not adjustable, and it is important so the cart can fit your dog as well as possible)
