Is it DM? -Ataxia

Incoordination or loss of Balance due to poor
control of muscle

Probably one of the first symptoms you may notice about your dog, is a 'wobberly gait' or Ataxia, as it is known.  But did you know, there are different types of Ataxia and they are not all connected to Degenerative Myelopathy (DM)

There are actually 3 types of Ataxia

Cerebellar
(previously motor)

Vestibular

Proprioceptive
(previously sensory)
